Silver medal winner at the 2025 Libations Mid-Atlantic Wine Challenge! Petit Verdot is one of our favorite varieties to grow on the estate & in our opinion one of the best red Vinifera varieties to grow in Southeastern Pennsylvania. This 100% Petit Verdot has notes of dark fruit and course silky tannins that are true to the varietal. Aged for 18 months in 50% new French barrels. Drink now, but has the potential to age for many years.
For optimal tasting allow wine to decant for 10-15 minutes prior to consuming in order for wine to open up and show its full varietal expression. This wine was bottled un-fined and unfiltered. Some sediment will form over time.
